▲ Naksan Beach Market to be held as a project of Gangwon-do Theme Beach

Yangyang-gun will hold the "Beach Market@Naksan" event from Saturday, July 26 to Sunday, July 27 at the deck area of Naksan Beach B in Yangyang.

The Beach Market@Naksan event is designed to provide vacationers visiting Naksan Beach with special summer memories and rest, revitalize the local economy during the summer vacation season, and is operated as part of the "Themed Beach Operation Plan" promoted by Gangwon-do. 

A total of 40 teams will participate in the beach market @Naksan, including Hu Jinhang Beach Market Sellers and local sellers, and △ Handmade creations △ Local agricultural products and processed foods △ Food and experience programs △ Haeparang-gil promotional booths will be operated.

On July 26 (Sat), the music performances of The Loft Band and Kawaihajo will be held, and in the evening, a fireworks show will be held to embroider the night sky of Naksan, along with a classical stage by pianist Choi So-yeon and soprano Song Nan-young.

At sunset, Naksan Beach Sunset Yoga with professional yoga instructors along Haeparang Road and Meditation Walking barefoot on the 44th course of Haeparang Road will be held.

At the Haeparang-gil Promotion Booth, Haeparang-gil's leader will be present to provide information on Haeparang-gil, display and sell upcycling products at Yangyang New Utilization Center, and hold SNS certification events. 

A county official said, "The Beach Market @Naksan was designed to convey a message of comfort and solidarity to the people who have been severely affected by the recent torrential rains and hope that it will be a space of rest and hope for those who visit Yangyang during the summer vacation season. As large-scale living accommodation facilities are being built in the Naksan district, we plan to expand tourism contents that provide relaxation and pleasure to vacationers during the peak summer season."
